Hi, I’m Rachel

I used to run in-house creative for big brands in Boston. I loved a lot of it, but my priorities have shifted. After a stretch of health issues that made me re-evaluate my day to day, I stepped away. Partly to take care of myself. Partly to take care of my family.

This is what I made next.

The Fisherman's Wife is a personal-taste account from the South Shore of Massachusetts — a place to share what I'm cooking, what I've been pinning and saving, what's on my mind, and where I'm sending you on the South Shore (and beyond). I'm a born-and-bred New Englander, a modern mom, a former Boston creative and a soon-to-be pilates instructor.

What lives here: my actual taste, applied to my actual life, shared with you. Recipes I'm cooking and would cook again. Special finds I'm saving. The inspiration populating my moodboards. Spots on the South Shore I'd send a friend to.

What I try to avoid: anything that could belong to anyone.

I partner with brands that fit the considered world I'm building — and only when the product would already live in my house. Recipe development, lifestyle photography, travel storytelling, seasonal campaigns. If your brand lives in this world, I'd love to talk.
